This pod has been dried and flakes for ease of use, if not using the whole pod or hydrating the whole pod, then flakes are ideal for this use
Can used to create a marinade or straight into a sauce with the hydration but still providing texture
The peppers are de stemmed, but may still contain some stalks and tops, along with the seeds - 100% pepper

great cupboard ingredient!
These red/chilli pepper flakes are quite fruity and moderately spicy. Brilliant lazy addition to sauces and casseroles.
