Pepper is a seed with a coat, black peppercorns are the coats ripened, this is removed leaving the white seed behind
White pepper has a floral earthy flavour with the spicy flavour being removed with the black coat
Just like all our spices, the white peppercorns come from fully matured plants to ensure we get maximum aroma and flavour
