Description
Sichuan Pepper from China is quite difficult to import due to their use of pesticides
Luckily it is not the only place on the plant where it is grown, Timut Sichuan Pepper is from Nepal
Like so many spices it comes with two names, Timur or Timut, I have known it as Timut first
Every region where we grow affects the flavours of the plants, Timut Pepper has the usual strong citrus flavour but from Nepal it has undertones of grapefruits
Usually harvested from wild growing bushes at more than 2000m altitude, sun dried harvest making the pepper from clean as nature intended for us to use
Perfect for any Asian dish, stir frys, the sharp flavours of the Timut peppers combined with chilli, garlic and ginger is mouth watering experience
