Chipotle is unique in the food world let alone chilli with its unique smoking process of using pecan shells to create a sweet nutty flavour
Jalapenos are used as the chilli base, allowed to mature to full red to provide a citrus sweet flavour
The jalapeno is smoked dried for a few days to create the wonderful chipotle
Chipotle means smoked pepper from the Aztecs making this drying process one of the oldest still in use today
Chipotle adds deep sweet smokey flavour to any food likes it just been cooked over an open flame, add to any dish from baked beans to lasagna let alone a variety of authentic Mexican cuisine

Each chipotle pod weighs approx 7g but will vary
The chipotle can be chopped up and used in any sauce, 5mins of simmering will soften the skin, release its wonderful smokey flavour and blend into the texture

A little warm water and 5-10mins the chipotle can be blended to make a paste and used as you wish

Delicious
I can not live without these in my life, I re order in large quantities the moment I have a handful left. I use them every single time I make a chilli by soaking in beef stock and other herbs etc and add to my beef chilli! Super smokey and sweet!!

CHIPOTLE MORITA CHILLI - AUTHENTIC PECAN SMOKED
Absolutely delicious. I tried a small piece before putting the rest into a ferment to make a spicy barbecue sauce. The flavour is intense and very smoky, the chillies have been stored perfectly - they have that slight bendiness you look for. Great product, will definitely be buying again!

A little brittle….. not a supple as last order ,
Cannot begot elsewhere and with such a delicate full smoke….. really delicious…. Many only dissatisfaction is that they are quite brittle and not as supple as previous batches….. I hope they last !
