Sadly we lost a great contact in India before Christmas. Searching for a new spice supplier is fraught with problems, finding somebody who understands quality and has a passion for good food has taken time

Happily a great spice merchant in Goa is now supplying us, with an aim of increasing over time, in particular true kashmiri chilli

For now our first shipment is our beloved Malabathrum Leaves - Indian Bay Leaf - Cinnamon Bay also known as Cinnamomum tamala, tejpat, tejapatta, Malabar leaf, Indian bark, Indian cassia

Shows how long these leaves have been cultivated for, so many regions with so many languages, mentioned by the Ancient Romans and Greeks, trade was active along the Silk Road
