The weather is for sure unseasonal, or is it? Is this our new season now?

Speaking to farmers and producers around the world they are seeing the same, trying to figure out when to plant the seed and when harvest will be

The work farmers everywhere do is one thing, looking out the window and thinking is today the day would be frustrating for me, I like the stability of knowing when and where I need to be and what I will be doing

If the plants haven't matured by September though, there are advantages to the new season

Sambal News

We used to import Konningsvogel Sambals from Netherlands, due to Brexit and Inflation the cost of importing these jars has become unviable for us

Jason at Burning Desire Foods, one of the best sauce makers in the world is now making a couple of Sambals which will be on sale in a few days

While I would like to bring back the original, supporting a local company and not spending £1300 for a pallet delivery (£250 pre brexit) does mean we can bring this wonderful cuisine and flavours back to our shop

Look out for these in the next couple of days
