Normally at this time of year I am looking forward to new harvests, changing season too. As this has been the year from hell for us all it is quite difficult to get excited. The logistics to get stocks from around the world has been disrupted and now causing stock jams at ports all over the world, simply not enough lorries or ships to carry what is needed.
Then we have brexit coming up at the end of the year, regardless of your view point it is adding to the demand this year to get stocks in and out of Europe, we do all we can to ensure spices are on sale but is proving difficult for some of our favourites, most of which will be delivered in the coming couple of weeks, the odd few are off sale due to climate change. As you know, we do not sacrifice quality to put on sale, if we cannot find something good enough we will take off sale.

Finally moved into our new unit this year and settled in nicely, we will be introducing new seasonings hopefully weekly for a good while to come, any suggestions of what you would like to see on sale just say
Time is ticking to a change of rules, at this moment we have no idea what these rules are so very difficult to plan and provide news about what is happening
What we do know is the trade tariffs will be 0% for most of our range, in a no deal scenerio Worlds Trade Organisation rules will be used for import and export, theory is this will be zero tax, which is good news
What we do not know is Custom Clearance charges for crossing the border and any VAT rules in individual countries, hope we will find out soon
As it stands, our plan is to ship all EU orders up to and including 15th December, this is the last date for Christmas delivery
When the 1st of Jan comes along, the rules change for every country we send to, as such we expect disruption, delays and a whole lot of confusion, so we will be shutting down our EU deliveries from 15th December till 7th January
This will hopefully avoid all issues with the change over
This is the plan so far, by next month we should have more information allowing us to inform you better with what will be happening, until this comes along, this is the plan we are working too
I hope this is very short lived and we are able to ship hassle free after this date and for a long time to come, I speak to many of you and hope to do so next year!
