Brewing Instructions
Use approximately 2–3g of Chamomile Tea per 250ml of water.
Heat fresh water to around 90–95°C, pour over the chamomile and allow to infuse for 5–7 minutes before straining.
Chamomile benefits from a longer infusion than many traditional teas. Around 5 minutes produces a lighter, more delicate cup, while brewing towards 7 minutes develops a fuller floral character and greater natural sweetness.
Serving Guidance
Best enjoyed without milk to preserve its delicate floral flavour. Serve naturally or add a little honey for extra sweetness. A slice of lemon can also be added for a brighter, fresher finish.
For iced Chamomile Tea, use approximately 4–5g per 250ml of water, infuse at 90–95°C for 5–7 minutes, then strain and allow to cool. Serve over plenty of ice, with lemon or a little honey if desired.
Common Uses
Ideal as a gentle caffeine-free drink throughout the day and particularly suited to evening drinking. Chamomile can also be chilled for a light and refreshing herbal iced tea.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Keep securely sealed after opening to preserve its delicate floral aroma and flavour.
