Brewing Instructions
Use approximately 2–3g of Earl Grey Tea per 250ml of water.
Heat fresh water to around 95–97°C, pour over the tea and allow to infuse for approximately 3–4 minutes before straining.
A 3-minute infusion produces a lighter, more fragrant cup where the bergamot comes to the fore. Brewing towards 4 minutes develops more of the underlying black tea body.
Avoid over-infusing, which can introduce excessive tannin and mask the more delicate citrus character of the bergamot.
Serving Guidance
Earl Grey is traditionally enjoyed black, allowing its fragrant bergamot character to shine. A splash of milk can be added for a softer, fuller cup, while a slice or twist of lemon complements its natural citrus notes.
For iced Earl Grey, use approximately 4–5g per 250ml of water, brew at 95–97°C for 3–4 minutes, then strain and allow to cool before serving over plenty of ice. Lemon makes an excellent garnish.

Ideal as a refreshing morning or afternoon tea, served black, with milk or with lemon. Earl Grey also makes an aromatic iced tea and can be used as a base for tea-based drinks.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Keep securely sealed after opening to preserve the tea's distinctive bergamot aroma and flavour.
