Description
Good & Proper Jade Tips Tea is a delicate green tea with a fresh, clean character and naturally refreshing flavour.
The leaves produce a light, bright infusion with the characteristic vegetal notes of green tea balanced by a gentle natural sweetness. A lighter alternative to black tea, Jade Tips is particularly enjoyable when brewed carefully at a lower temperature to bring out its more delicate flavours without excessive bitterness.
Flavour Profile
Fresh, light and vegetal with delicate grassy notes, gentle natural sweetness and a clean, refreshing finish.
Features
- Green tea
- Fresh and delicate flavour
- Light, clean and refreshing infusion
- Naturally vegetal character
- Best brewed at a lower water temperature
- Enjoy hot or chilled
Brewing Instructions
Use approximately 2–3g of Jade Tips Tea per 250ml of water.
Heat fresh water to around 75–80°C, pour over the tea and allow to infuse for approximately 2–3 minutes before straining.
Avoid using boiling water or over-infusing the leaves, as this can overwhelm the tea's delicate character and produce unnecessary bitterness.
The leaves can also be infused more than once, with subsequent brews revealing slightly different aspects of the tea's flavour.
Serving Guidance
Best enjoyed without milk, allowing the fresh and delicate character of the green tea to come through. Drink as it is or add a small amount of honey if sweetness is preferred.
For iced Jade Tips Tea, use approximately 4g per 250ml of water, brew at 75–80°C for 2–3 minutes, strain and allow to cool before pouring over ice.
Common Uses
Ideal as a refreshing green tea throughout the day. Serve freshly brewed and hot or chilled as a clean, delicate iced green tea.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Keep securely sealed after opening to protect the delicate flavour and aroma of the tea
