Features
- Naturally caffeine-free herbal infusion
- Fresh and aromatic lemongrass flavour
- Light, clean and refreshing character
- Suitable for drinking throughout the day
- Enjoy hot or chilled over ice
Brewing Instructions
For the best flavour, use approximately 2–3g of lemongrass per 250ml of water. Pour over freshly boiled water at around 97°C and allow to infuse for 5–7 minutes.
Lemongrass benefits from a slightly longer infusion than traditional black or green tea, allowing its fresh citrus oils and naturally sweet, aromatic character to fully develop.
Serving Guidance
Serve without milk to preserve the clean, bright citrus flavour of the lemongrass. It can be enjoyed as it is or with a little honey for additional sweetness.
For iced lemongrass tea, use approximately 4–5g per 250ml of hot water and infuse for 5–7 minutes to create a stronger brew. Strain, allow to cool and serve over plenty of ice. Fresh lemon, lime or mint makes an excellent garnish.
Common Uses
Ideal as a refreshing caffeine-free drink throughout the day or evening. Lemongrass tea can be served hot, chilled as an iced tea or used as a light herbal base for other refreshing drinks.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Keep securely sealed to maintain freshness, flavour and aroma.
