Fenugreek Ground Powder - Quick Reference
What is it?: Ground fenugreek seed, ready to disperse quickly through sauces, curries and spice blends.

How to use: Use in small quantities and cook it into the dish; gentle frying or simmering softens the bitterness and rounds out the sweetness.
Compare with: Ground fenugreek gives faster, more even flavour than whole seeds but loses aroma more quickly once opened.
Substitute: Methi leaves give a related but greener flavour; mustard powder can replace some bitterness but not the maple-like aroma.
Good to know: Fenugreek can easily dominate a blend, so a measured amount usually gives a better result than adding it by eye.
