Getting Spices, Herbs and Chilli from all over the world does create conversations of when harvests occur, the way the Southern and Northern Hemphishere change meeting in the middle - equator is extremely interesting.
It has also created an eye locally on when vegetables, fruits and salad are seasonal and ready for cropping, even after all the years of talking to farmers I am still amazed by plants, their survival evolution allowing them to diversify and alter when they can grow - to take advantage of a summer crop some plants will grow happily in the harshest of winters like Leeks in the picture,
As Sir David Attenborough says on his latest wonderland, plants feed everything and everyone, nothing would be here with out them

We were hoping to have our full range of plants on sale today, the last two sets of Sweet Peppers and Aji's have decided to grow more root mass and not leafage this week so need another week yet, all being good on sale next weekend
