Apologies for our absence since the start of the year, the last year has impacted us all, upto xmas we were coping but another shutdown of the schools, increased cases around the country resulting in more self isolations and then brexit hammering down the lid we have struggled to maintain our sanity at times. However as with all things in life a challenge is a challenge, we are pulling each other up to meet this new world of both pressures on covid restricting harvests and carriage and brexit causing its own special issues with getting stock through Europe
As a spice company we have spices from 65 different countries, through one trade route or another some of our spices comes through Europe which last year was a simple as sending an order on Monday and having the stock by the following Monday, but now its a little more difficult to do, restrictions on couriers - some will not carry foodstuffs and others whose networks have been impacted, all good fun I am told
Its sunny as I write this, spring is coming around the corner so brighter longer days a head, it does seem like we are heading in the right direction now

Import and export is nothing new to us but how it works outside of the EU is different from within, most countries have adopted the same procedures, unfortunately Spain is proving difficult and we are unable to ship here for the time being while we sort out the problems, UK advises we can ship foodstuffs, Spanish connection says no, we will sort as soon as possible
We have shipping open to the rest of Europe again, deliveries are being made in a timely fashion, takes a few days longer than before, around 7 days
