The nixtamalization process that tortillas go through significantly enriches the nutritional value of maize as a source of vitamins, minerals (calcium) and protein.
How to warm them: Open the package, warm them on a pan. When warmed in microwave, put some in a lightly damp clean cloth, put inside a plastic bag and warm for approx. 30 seconds.
Ingredients: Blue Corn 62%, Water 38%, Citric Acid (E-330), Sodium propionate E-281 and Potassium Sorbate (E-202).

Blue Corn Tortillas
We couldn't get these to warm up properly. Heating on a hot pan didn't work - they just got brittle. Microwaving them they still tasted uncooked. The combo of microwaving and then charring on an open flame was okay, but still not really that nice - they still fell apart. Particularly disappointing as we were really looking forward to an authentic blue corn tortilla.
