Protected from the enthronement through layers of volcanic rock layers and soaking up the iron deposits within the rock to create a wonderful rose pink colour, combined with other minerals calcium, potassium and magnesium it provides a pure clean delicate salt flavouring
Harvested by hand and transported from the highlands to lowlands using the same caravan routes the Incas created
