Mulato Chilliies

Mulato chillies bring rich, complex flavour to Mexican cuisine, offering notes of chocolate, dried fruit, and subtle smoke.  Closely related to Ancho chillies, Mulatos are dried ripe poblanos with a darker colour and a deeper, more savoury profile. With a mild heat (1,000–2,000 SHU), they’re perfect for traditional mole sauces, marinades, and slow-cooked dishes. Available whole, flaked, or powdered for easy use in your cooking.
