Description
Organic Lemon Myrtle has evolved on the sandy stoney soils on the edge of Australia's Rainforests
An evergreen shrub by definition, but there is nothing shrubbery about this plant
Having lemon citrus flavours in other plants other than lemon is nothing new but the intensity of the lemon aroma and flavours in the myrtle leaves are incredible
A must for any lemon flavoured desire in your cooking, whether its main, desert or even a tea, but use sparingly - better to add as you cannot take away
The leaves are dried and ground to a fine powder for easy use
Grown and produced in Australia

Lemon Myrtle Powder Organic 20g - Quick Reference
What is it?: Organic lemon myrtle leaf milled to a fine powder for quick, even flavouring.
Flavour: Intensely lemony and fragrant with floral, herbal and faint eucalyptus notes.
Common uses: Baking, sauces, marinades, desserts, drinks, seafood rubs and seasoning blends.
Pairs well with: Ginger, coconut, chilli, coriander, fish, chicken, berries and chocolate.
How to use: Use in small pinches and mix thoroughly, as the powder releases flavour immediately.
Compare with: Faster and more concentrated in use than lemon myrtle flakes.
Substitute: Finely grated lemon zest can substitute for brightness, though not for the full native-herb character.
Storage: Keep tightly sealed because the powder is especially vulnerable to aroma loss.
Good to know: The powder is ideal for baking and dry blends, but its strength means it should be measured more like a spice than an ordinary leafy herb.
