Chilli con carne was created in San Antonio, Texas in the early 19th century using local ingredients - beef and chilli peppers with other local ingredients reputed to be by Mexican woman making a living my stewing up large vats and selling to the local towns
Since then, different regions have used to different ingredients again based on what is local to them

Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of seasoning per meal depending on how strong you like your flavours, always add but never take away, being a simmering dish, add a little, simmer for a few minutes and try
