The grape variety Syrah is a very old vine with small berries excellent grape qualities
The probable origin is the area around the city of Shiraz, today, the grape variety belongs to the big six of the most cultivated wines in the world
Besides France, the grape variety is mainly grown in Australia and Spain. Particularly high qualities of the strong, deep-dark Syrah are obtained in the Spanish region of Castilla-La Mancha in the Castilian area
The Syrah used for our red wine salt comes from an organic winery in this region, while the salt flakes comes from a mountainous region of the Spanish province of Alicante - our Petalos de Sal
Special salt flakes are used for the red wine salt, which absorb and bind the red wine particularly well
Organic Syrah red wine salt goes well with all dark meats such as beef, game, lamb or with dark poultry, short roasts, salads and for finishing at the table. for something very different or you can combine with dark chocolate or exotic fruits
