Gasoline is an extremely hot Capsicum chinense hybrid created by crossing Brown Bhutlah with Euforia. It is grown for its intense, long-lasting heat and strong flavour profile rather than ornamental value.
Pods are large, heavily textured, and typically end in long, sharp tails. Fruits ripen to red when fully mature. Pod walls are relatively thin, contributing to a rapid and aggressive heat delivery, making them suitable for sauce making and powder production.
Flavour is fruity and pepper-forward, followed quickly by powerful heat. Heat levels are commonly reported in the 100,000–350,000+ SHU range, placing Gasoline firmly in the Very Hot category with a sustained burn.
Plants are bushy and moderately tall, requiring warm temperatures and a long growing season to reach full potential. They benefit from consistent feeding and strong light to support pod size and heat development.
