Green Jalapeno Chilli Powder Quick Reference
- What is it? A powder made from dried green Jalapeño chillies.
- Flavour Fresh, green and lightly grassy with a gentle pepper character.

- Common uses Salsas, sauces, stews, guacamole-style dishes, marinades, dressings and BBQ sauces.
- Pairs well with Lime, coriander leaf, tomato, garlic, onion, cheese, chicken and avocado.
- How to use Add directly for a green chilli note; increase gradually when more warmth is wanted.
- Compare with Fresher and less sweet than Red Jalapeño powder; much less smoky than Chipotle.
- Possible substitute Serrano Green for a sharper, hotter green chilli flavour.
- Storage Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to protect colour, aroma and flavour.
