This Salt is Kosher - no additives

Sea Salt is the Mother of all spices nature produces, first to be used as a flavour enhancer then most likely one of the first foods to ever be traded

Table Salt or Cooking Salt is not ideal as salt in food, the processing of the sea salt to make the table salt along with the usual "natural chemicals" they add it is best to stay with all natural sea salt with no additives or anti caking agents

Sea Salt offers a nice flavour and texture to your food anyway!

Salt for some food producers have become a flavour in its own right resulting in increased salt contented food, but for spices on the web we use salt to enhance natures bounty, when we do use salt we use sea salt or Himmalayan Sea Salt for improved food quality and satisfaction

Use in any spice grinder and sprinkle as required

Medium Sodium Flavour

Produced in UK

Grinder Use - Yes

Mortar and Pestle Use - Yes

Quick Reference

What is it?: An additive-free coarse sea salt supplied as natural crystals rather than highly processed table salt.

Flavour: A straightforward sea-salt flavour with a crunchy texture and slower release than fine salt.

Common uses: Use in a grinder, crush for cooking, add to brines, or scatter sparingly over food before roasting.

Pairs well with: Vegetables, meat, fish, bread, pasta water and general savoury cooking.

Compare with: Larger and more textural than fine sea salt, making it better suited to mills and gradual seasoning.

Substitute: Fine sea salt may be used in smaller measured amounts, but it dissolves and disperses more quickly.

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from steam and moisture. For smoked or delicate finishing salts, close the pack promptly to protect their aroma and crystal texture.

Good to know: The coarse crystal is useful when you want control from a mill or a visible salt texture rather than immediate, even dispersion.
