Organic Tellicherry Black Peppercorns (TGEB) – Rare, Late-Harvest Intensity

Experience the exceptional depth and warmth of our Organic Tellicherry Black Peppercorns (TGEB – Tellicherry Garbled Extra Bold), a spice harvested with precision from the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala, India. Grown on the historic Malabar Coast and named after the port city of Tellicherry, these late-harvest peppercorns are hand-selected for their size, maturity, and full-bodied flavour.

Unlike regular black pepper, TGEB peppercorns are allowed to ripen longer on the vine, giving them a rich brown hue and a uniquely bold profile. Expect warm, nutty aromas with subtle hints of sandalwood and black tea, followed by a clean, slightly sharper heat that transforms any dish.

  • Gourmet TGEB-grade: the finest and fullest pepper berries from each crop

  • Late-harvested for maximum flavour and essential oil content

  • Aromatic and versatile – ideal for meat, vegetables, or as an all-round seasoning

  • Best enjoyed freshly cracked from your pepper mill – a little goes a long way

  • Sustainably sourced and packed for freshness

Discover the pepper that chefs and spice lovers worldwide seek out – a true taste of Kerala’s spice heritage.

    Superb quality and flavour

Is it the best black peppercorn on earth? This I don't know, but I've been using it for a long time and I love it. It's not to hot as to kill the tastebuds, but gives enough warmth and depth and kick to any type of food from stew to salad dressing.
