Sundried Tomatoes are just that, tomatoes that are dried in the bright very warm sunshine and a little salt to create the correct conditions to intensify the tomato flavour into that sundried tomato flavour
Great for adding to sauces where normal tomato will just not cut the mustard
The tomatoes are picked fresh, cleaned and then cut in half and the tray has fine sea salt sprinkled over to help draw out the moisture
