Jalapeno Chilli

Jalapeño chillies are among the most popular and versatile peppers, known for their medium heat and fresh, grassy flavour. Originating from Mexico, these medium-sized chillies measure between 2,500 and 8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), offering a balanced heat suitable for a variety of dishes. Commonly harvested when green, they can also ripen to red, developing a slightly sweeter profile. Jalapeños are ideal for salsas, nachos, pickling, and stuffing. When smoked and dried, they transform into chipotle peppers, adding a rich, smoky depth to culinary creations. Available in whole pods, flakes, and powder to suit various cooking needs.​
