Quick Reference
What is it?: A ready-salted Chinese-style chip seasoning containing 20% fine sea salt with garlic, cayenne, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, star anise and cloves.
Flavour: Salty, savoury and aromatic with a little chilli warmth and the sweet-spice character associated with Chinese five spice.
Common Uses: Chips, wedges, fried chicken, tofu, stir-fried vegetables and takeaway-style snacks.
Pairs Well With: Potatoes, peppers, onions, chicken, tofu and spring onion.
How to Use: Sprinkle over hot chips in a bowl and toss immediately so the fine seasoning adheres evenly.
Compare With: Compared with Ganion Chip Seasoning, this is more aromatic and Chinese in style; Ganion is garlic-onion-paprika led.
Substitute: Use Chinese Five Spice plus salt and garlic as a rough substitute, adding cayenne to taste.
Storage: Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and steam.
Good to Know: Because the blend already contains 20% salt, taste before adding any extra salt to the food.

CHINESE SALT N PEPPER
The chinese salt n pepper had too strong a taste and smell of cloves, the rest of the spices were of the usual very high standard, very pleased.
