Description
Guérande Sea Salt has been harvested in Brittany France for over 2000 years
Unique in its colour firstly as the salt crystals are infused with the grey blue clay making up in the region, this also makes a highly unique salt flavour
Due to its moisture content it is not suitable for grinder use, if using as a table salt we recommend using the fine Guerande salt found here

Guerande Salt
I've used this salt for years and it is fine in a grinder if you dry it out first. Just spread it out in a baking tray and into the oven at a low-ish temperature (like 150c) for about 1/2 hour or so. Since you can't really burn salt, it is quite forgiving, but I put the timer on to check after 1/2 hour and then keep it going if still not dry enough. When it is, I just turn off the oven but leave the tray in there until the oven cools then transfer the salt to a Tupperware container to fill up your grinder as needed.
