Description

combined.website-mini.jpg

Cinnamon comes from the inner bark of several species of tree from the genus Cinnamomum, used by humans since the Early days of Middle Eastern Culture, travelling through the world and civilisations delivering wonderful cinnamon aroma and flavour to our food

Where the cinnamon trees have evolved have created slightly different versions, this cinnamon powder is known as True Cinnamon - Ceylon Cinnamon - Sri Lankan Cinnamon

Ceylon Cinnamon has evolved in the Sri Lankan region of the world, with our cinnamon coming directly from Sri Lanka who make the worlds best true cinnamon

Ceylon Cinnamon is the sweetest of all cinnamons ideal for use in Teas, Sweets and Deserts

There are several types of Cinnamon, Indonesian and Sri Lankan Indonesian Cinnamon can be found here

The quills are imported and ground to a uniformed powder in the UK

If you are adding these wonderful barks to a seasoning or blend we recommend you choice Indonesian as it will stand up to the complex flavours you are using

However for teas etc. we suggest Ceylon Cinnamon, it is sweeter than the Indonesian but delicate in flavour so can be hidden easily

Ground to a fine powder for ease of use

Ceylon Cinnamon is low in Coumarin

Grown in Sri Lanka
